Kids Like Me - Song & Story Behind It 

It was great to learn that the the new “Kids Like Me” song I wrote with Maurice Byrne, made it onto SOUNDCLOUD’S Folk Trending playlist. It was inspired by my long affiliation with the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program benefiting kids in the foster care system.

Make Hay When The Sun Shines - Song + The Story Behind It 

When my Irish friend and co-writer, Finbar Magee, and I decided to write a song together, we talked about what kind of song we might like to write. We landed on one inspired by the American colloquialism, Make Hay When The Sun Shines, a saying Finbar had not heard before.
