Mid-tempo American rock track that delves into themes of self-awareness and compassion. Inspired by a personal encounter with a homeless person asking for money, the song captures the tension and introspection of moments like these from the perspective of both having to reach out for help and the sinking feeling we get when we turn away, wave someone off, or give just give a couple of coins to end our discomfort.
