"Back To The Top" was licensed as the only song to be used in a new Charles Johnson play entitled "Indian Summer" which will open at the Exit Theatre in San Francisco on October 4, having been selected over several other songs that were under consideration. I was referred to playwright and actor, Charles Johnson, by my friends, Wilson and Emily Lyles. I met him at their 2010 Christmas Party at which he gave me a copy of the script. I was inspired by the story to figuratively crawl into the head of a shady character in an effort to portray his state of mind in a song, without giving away details of the play.
